Watch The First Trailer For ‘300: Rise Of An Empire’

If everything went according to plan, we’d be just a few weeks away from the theatrical release of 300: Rise of an Empire. That’s not the way that things always work out, however, and instead we’ll be waiting until March of next year.

Warner Bros. has just released the anticipated first trailer for Rise of an Empire, following a cool new teaser poster released yesterday. The trailer showcases the same stylish look and feel of the first film, but of course, the stunning cast from 300 is nowhere to be found (well, besides David Welham as Dilios).

I’m reserving judgement on this one for now, as it seems like it’s been stuck in development hell for years, but based on my love for the first film alone (plus, the trailer does look pretty cool), I can’t wait to line up for this one.
