Warner Bros. May Look For New Writer For ‘Justice League’
The latest bit of information about Justice League is far from good news. There’s a chance that the film, which Warner Bros. aimed for a 2015 release, may get scrapped in general. After his film Gangster Squad did so horribly at the box office, Warner Bros. began debating whether or not to go in a different direction with the project. According to Bad Ass Digest, and their multiple sources, the script for the film from Will Beall is horrible… so horrible that Warner Bros. may be losing faith in the project and could scrap it altogether or begin the search for a new writer.
The sources state that the script is “half-baked from the beginning”, and constantly adds and subtracts characters, with no point to them appearing, outside of the “main five” who are supposed to appear in the film. With the script being so bad for the film, Warner Bros. is unable to attach a director to the project.
While none of this is officially confirmed, it does sound quite a bit like what I have been hearing regarding Will Beall’s script. With Warner Bros. in a rush to compete with The Avengers rather than take their time with the project, things aren’t looking good for Justice League at all. However, the movie does still sit on the shoulders of Man Of Steel at the moment. If that film is successful, Warner Bros. may choose the route of finding a new writer for the script.
