Finally! Hollywood had its way and successfully released the stand-alone ‘Venom’ movie that they’ve been trying to make for years! But… is it really a success? What can be argued against an $80 Million opening weekend? Well… a lot. This movie isn’t exactly a critical darling. From the script to the fx to the acting to the entire point of making a stand-alone Venom movie in the first place, there’s a lot that doesn’t work. So why did we still have fun watching it?
