Terry Moore’s ‘Rachel Rising’ Coming To Television

THR report that Alcon Television Group, the TV arm of Alcon Entertainment, is bringing the acclaimed horror comic book series Rachel Rising to the small screen. The series from artist Terry Moore is the first piece of property that Alcon has picked up since its inception ten months ago.

The comic series is being described as “a horror story for people who don’t like horror stories” and tells the story of Rachel, a woman who “awakens” dead in a shallow grave and proceeds to try and piece together what happened to her. During this time she is tracked by a mysterious blond woman and a maniacal young girl named Zoe. Moore will serve as an executive producer on the show with Hellboy & Watchmen producer Lloyd Levin.
