THIS WEEK: GRIND YARD

TIP #1 – Toys

Boomshot/Gun Turret

 Easily the go-to weapon. From this spawn, you can see the rest of the map. Just don’t expect to waltz up there and get it.

Grenades

These come in handy in tagging because of all the cover available to the players on this map. You can also easily set traps. (i.e. planting the nade on the ground.)

Pistol

They don’t really matter on this map, but if you truly need it, there’s no shame in picking it up…unless you die trying to pick it up.

Flamethrower

This can prove useful if you do it properly. Use it in tight corridors or in rooms. Don’t just blast it and have a pyrotechnics party out in the open.

TIP #2 – Noyze

Basically, if you don’t have someone up there putting fire on and killing enemies from above, then the enemy is fucking you up by controlling this central palace.

Your teams major goal should be getting up there. Just be sure you execute your plan as a team. Don’t leave anyone behind.

And, of course, never forget the element of flanking on your way of conquest.

TIP #3 – Joyze?

Storming the castle isn’t the easiest thing to do, unless you have a hot girlfriend that…wants you…and…you…storm h-her castle? Anyway, there’s only one way up and one day down, bitches. Clog it was ‘nades and you got yourself and orgy of limbs. And if you’re short of frags, smoke ‘nades prove effective too.

When you’re up there, you can reign down fire from the heavens. Sound too Godly for you? Well, a Lancer will work just as well.

TIP #4 – Storming said castle-yz

First, keep in mind that you can attack from the sides of those camping up top. Also from here, you can toss smoke and frag grenades alike. Smoke should be used as distractions or be followed by bullets.

Once up top, be sure to scan the area. Your enemy maybe hiding in the room up there.

Also, while you’re up there, keep in mind that everyone that’s not on your team hates you and WILL throw smoke grenades up there to contribute to your demise.

TIP #5 – Flanks you need to knowz

At spawn, there should be a ramp either to your left or right. By going up there, you’ll enter a building that provides a higher-ground advantage.

….or the leveled ground advantage.
