Teabag Prevention Presents: Halo Vol.2 – Sandbox

This is the last of the Mythic three. This map is simple, but fun. I dont know why it’s not played as often as it should be. It took me four hours of playtime to land a match in Sandbox. So please, people, don’t veto a fine map like this one. It deserves your playthrough.

THIS WEEK: SANDBOX

TIP #1 -WEAPONS IN YOUR SANDBOX

Rockets

They can be seen on the top of your screen, and at the bottom.

The Rockets are fairly easy to get to, just like a vunerable Gilmore, and they should be all the time. Yes, there will be a struggle if the other team is smart enough. Rockets come in very handy on a map this size. Vehicles aren’t just the main targets on this map. Sandbox is small enough to pick Rockets up just to kill the enemies running around.

Missle Launcher

This weapon is kinda hiding. You can find it, though. This has absolutley no use unless vehicles are roaming the map, or if someone holding a bomb or a flag walks in a straight line.

Brute Shot

This can be extremely useful when it comes to destroying vehicles. Not only that, but splash damage can hurt enemies that your friends can take out soon after

Battle Rifle/Carbine

These two are a must. This map is small enough to the point where you can easily kill someone who’s running for cover on the other side of the map.

Needler

The needler isn’t a must, but you can sneak up on enemies who are fighting your teammates.

Equipment

TIP #2 – GET TO THE CHOPPA!

At times this map can be ruled by vehicles. If a team obtains at least two vehicles while the other team has none, the battle is already pretty much over. That, of course, is only if the people manning the vehicles are good at it, and if your team possesses rockets.

Two choppers are the most effective because of the amount of control the chopper provides. This also enables two other teammates to finish off weakend enemies.

TIP #3 – GET ‘EM HIGH

At the top of each base lies the highest point where you can shoot from. Yes, this is obvious. So, surprise the enemy by deploying a grav lift in front so that you jump onto their face like Superfly Jimmy Snuka. This can also be done on the sides of the base. During CTF (Capture the Flag) this comes in handy.

Don’t forget that you can also take Rockets and Missle Launchers up there so that enemy vehicles have nowhere to hide.

TIP #4 – BUKAKALYPSE

Ambushes are fairly easy to accomplish, especially on vehicles. Just hide behind pillars, and use ‘nades + Brute Shots. Just make sure you hit the right people and watch out for teammates in that might accidentally get in the way. Always shoot around your teammates, not through them.

The same thing can be used on enemies on foot. Use teammwork. Attacking together on a surprised enemy always works.
