Teabag Prevention Presents: Firefight – Windward
The last map of the Firefight series. Welcome to hell. Don’t forget to check out our tips for the remaining maps of Firefight, as well as almost all maps and every weapon of Halo 3 at http://geekscape.net/features/teabag-prevention.
Now that we kissed and said hello, let’s do this.
THIS WEEK: Windward
TIP #1 – YO’ GUNS
SMG/Magnum
Missile Turret
Shotgun
Rockets
TIP #2 – GET INDOORS OR YOU’LL CATCH YOUR DEATH, HONEY
There can be a lot of covies at one time. When the Jackles, Brutes, and Drones start overcoming you, there’s nothing wrong with taking a step inside to find cover. In fact, this limits your enemies to take one main route and two side routes. This also provides one of the most beautiful things in First Person Shooters which are always only used by smart-folk: choke points.
Main Entrance
Make sure you have this entrance covered. The majority of the enemies pack inside this area which gives you a great advantage if you have Rockets or grenades. In other words, spam the entrance with as many explosives as you can.
Side Entrance
Watch these doors for Drones. They sometimes like to sneak around you.
Don’t forget:
Invisi-Brutes will sneak in too.
TIP #3 – MAKE IT LOOK LIKE THE FOURTH OF JULY
It may seem like risking your life, but manning the missile launchers at the start of every round will take care of those annoying Banshees.
Don’t forget, you can take down Phantom turrets too.
And if you’re ballsy like my editor, you can go out there with two crappy guns and just go stick-crazy (not recommended).
TIP #4 – Windgrunts
When the bonus round Grunts come out, make sure you’re armed with explosives or pistols. They’ll be coming through doors and jumping down from roofs, so don’t be surprised if you see a couple of grunts trying to get the jump on you.
Weeeeeee!!!
The Split
It was at this moment that Jack and his crew of delinquents decided it was best to part ways, and fast. Not knowing how fast his newly stolen rocket boots were, Jack and his crew threw up blood at phenomenal speeds. One could only hope Jack and his crew made it out of there alive.
