Teabag Prevention: How to Suck Less at Firefight Week 4 – Security Zone
We’re back to Firefight this week with #4 of the series. It’s been too long. Now that finals are over, holiday break is in full swing, and we’ve learned to read (kind of), the Teabag Prevention Team is here to help you get some acheivements. Remember, always have Grunts B-Day Party skull ON.
THIS WEEK: SECURITY ZONE
TIP #1 – WEAPONZZZZZZZ
At spawn point, you have your med kits, Rockets, SMG’s, and Magnums.
(we never noticed how pretty that was either. Check out the racks to the left for weapons)
If you head up the steps, depending on whether you go right or left, you’ll find another set of steps that lead to a Machine Gun turret and a weapon spawn.
On the left, you’ll find a Spartan Laser:
(It’s on the bench, homeless and lonely)
On the right, you’ll find a Sniper Rifle:
(It’s on the bench, homeless and beautiful)
TIP #2 – SOMETHING BRIAN COULDN’T DO
At first, Wraiths will be easily taken down by a well-placed Laser shot. You might be able to take down anyone between you and that Wraith at the same time too.
Understand that a time will come when one Laser shot will no longer do the trick. Just because you have a laser in this map does NOT mean that you can camp. Never camp. Ever.
TIP #3 – PICK THE RIGHT BUDDY
“Let’s go futher out,” he said, “we’ll be able to kill more enemies faster,” he said. Sure, I followed him, he was my buddy. Then my buddy took a bad hit. Real bad. That “buddy” abandoned me. He left me for dead. And dead I was.
DON’T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU. Don’t camp, but also do NOT go all over the place. Hold down a fort. They WILL come to you.
TIP #4 – DAMNED, DIRTY BRUTES
Fuel-Rod Brutes are difficult to take down due to their armor. One way to do it, (don’t try this while Tilt is active) is to shoot him with a Gun turret at medium to long range. He won’t know what to do with himself. Once he’s dead, make sure to watch out for SG’s (no, not Suicide Girls…Suicide GRUNTS!…Actually, If anyone wants to submit a picture of a Grunt posing like a Suicide Girl, please email us below. We’re serious.)
As far as Hammer Brutes go, Fuel Rod Cannons work well against them, as well as Rockets. Stick to power weapons for these guys. The bigger the better.
Don’t froget, if a Hammer Brute is the last enemy, it can make for a bad ass stand off:
“Ooooooh hee hee hee! What a predicament!”
Things to Remember
- It’s always better to have someone watching your back.
- Make sure to save the biggest weapons for the biggest enemies.
- When fighting Drones, make sure to either have a Machine Gun turret or an SMG.
- When Tilt is active, use plasma weapons, then projectiles when their enemy shields are out.
- Don’t overspend on Christmas presents. Try and find out what she got YOU before you buy that ring, buddy. Trust us…we found out the hard way.
