Ryan Reynolds Officially Cast As ‘The Highlander’

It was reported months ago that Ryan Reynolds (‘Green Lantern’, ‘Safe House’) was in talks for the role of Conner MacLeod in the new ‘Highlander’. And after months of negotiations the 35 year old has been officially cast as the lead in the film.

“After roughly a month of negotiations, Ryan Reynolds has officially been cast in the lead role for HIGHLANDER. Reynolds will play Conner MacLeod, a Highlander who discovers he is one of a dwindling group of immortals who wander the earth and kill each other in combat for the final “Prize” – immortality.”

Are you ready for Ryan Reynolds to be the only one? Will we get another all-Queen soundtrack? Are they hopefully going to ignore all of the stupid alien stuff?
