Rick Famuyiwa Speeds Out Of Directing ‘The Flash’.
Just when you thought things were looking up for DC and WB, everything comes tumbling down.
Dope and former Flash director Rick Famuyiwa has parted ways the company and film due to creative differences according to an article by The Hollywood Reporter. Whether Famuyiwa left on his own accord or was forced out by WB & DC is yet to be known, but this poses a big problem for the upcoming speedster flick. Mostly because this film is supposed to start filming in March and they don’t even have a first draft of a script or a director now.Not only that, but main star Ezra Miller is extremely busy with other projects so making the March 2017 deadline doesn’t seem likely. Even more grim however is the prospect of a 2018 release is slowly sliding further and further away. God knows DC can’t rush the films production seeing as how they still have yet to make a film that satisfies both critics and fans (or even functions as an actual movie.) What do you think? Who do you think should direct The Flash now? Tell us in the comments below!
