Marvel And ABC Studios Developing A Live-Action Show Set In The Marvel Movie Universe?

Deadline is reporting that Marvel and ABC Studios are in talks to create a live-action drama series set within the Marvel cinematic universe.

“… the connection to the Avengers franchise would be light as the project is expected to be set in the universe and feature some of its themes and feel but may not include any characters from Joss Whedon’s blockbuster.”

The studios are in the earliest stages of development for the show. Some possible ideas being tossed around include a high-concept cop show. This is only the most current show to be in development at ABC, a series featuring the Hulk with Guillermo del Toro attached is also in the works. There are endless possibilities that the latest live-action drama could go. Maybe we could see a show focused on SHIELD agents, perhaps featuring characters from the latest Marvel One-Shot: Item 47?
