‘Journey’ Is One Of The Best Games Ever Made, And It’s Now Available On iOS!

What a dream.

I’ve been playing (and loving) thatgamecompany’s long awaited multi platform follow-up to Journey, called Sky, for a few weeks now. The game is simply stunning, and so far well worth the wait, but I just keep thinking during my playtime with Sky that I’m long overdue to play Journey again.

Journey launched exclusively on PS3 back in 2012, and it pretty much took the world by storm back then. From its epic score, to its unbelievably beautiful world, to the tale that it tells and the surprises that you find along the way, Journey is truly something special whether you’re really into playing video games or not (really, it’s an experience for everyone).

Over the years, the game was naturally ported over to PS4, and later PC, but in a surprise announcement from current publisher Annapurna Interactive, the game is now available across iOS devices for just $5US.

This is an incredible value, and I have to imagine that this beautiful game will feel right at home on the touch-centric platform (note that as of this writing there is no controller support for the title). The experience may only be a few hours long, but it’s one that you’ll remember for the rest of your life.
