Jeph Loeb Reveals When To Expect The First Episode Of Marvel & ABC’s ‘S.H.I.E.L.D’
There has been various casting announcements and small bits of news coming out over the past few months regarding Marvel & ABC’s S.H.I.E.L.D. But, currently there had been no word as to when we might actually see the pilot for the series. Now, in a recent interview with PREVIEWSworld, Marvel Head Of Television (as well as comic writer) Jeph Loeb revealed just when to expect to see the pilot next year.
“We have a “little” pilot for television that you might have heard about called Marvel’s S.H.I.E.L.D. co-written, directed, and Executive Produced by none other than Joss Whedon! Working with Joss, Jed Whedon, Maurissa Tancharoen, Jeffrey Bell on the show is a blast! And bringing in Clark Gregg to play Agent Phil Coulson…the best! Hopefully we will be on in the Fall of 2013 on ABC!”
While this doesn’t give any actual air date it does give an idea of when to expect the live-action Marvel Studios series. With how well they’ve handled their movies, it’s going to be pretty exciting to see what they can do with a weekly television series in between their films.
