Home Edition Of ‘Batman v. Superman: Dawn Of Justice’ Gets An ‘R’ Rating!
Briefly: Now that Deadpool has come and gone (well, it’s still very much here, based on its continued box office performance), all eyes have now fallen onto the second gigantic super hero flick of 2016, Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.
We already know that the film, which is now just over a month away, is set to be (definitely) long, (probably) too busy, and (likely) a damned good time, but some fresh news states that the home video release of Dawn of Justice will feature a we-wouldn’t-have-guessed-it ‘R’ rating.
Nope, it’s not going over-the-top ‘R’ (or how-the-hell-is-this-14A-in-Canada) like this month’s Deadpool, noting that the film is ‘Rated R for sequences of violence’.
Whether Snyder and company were deliberately shooting for this rating, or simply riding on the coattails of Deadpool at this point is uncertain, but in any case, color me interested to see just how this version differs from the Dawn of Justice that we’ll be seeing next month.
Are you looking forward to the film? How would you feel about the ‘R’ rated home edition? Sound out below!
