Geekscape’s ‘Super Mario Maker’ Course Of The Week: Koji Igarashi
Welcome back to week 2 for Geekscape’s Super Mario Maker Course of The Week. Today, I’ve found a level that’s not only challenging and fun, but it’s by a person you probably have already heard of. This week, I’m highlighting a Super Mario Maker course from the man behind Castlevania himself, Koji Igarashi, or just simply IGA.
While I’m not sure what the level name in English translates to, I can tell you that understanding the level is far easier. Taking place in a Super Mario World style ghost house, Your goal is to run away from a rampant chain chomp that’s been let loose. Now normally this wouldn’t be too bad, but there is a twist that makes it trickier. Not only is this rampant chain chomp unchained, but it also carries a bullet bill launcher on it’s head that fires heat seeking bullet bills.
The level starts fairly easy as you jump across a couple of small gaps while collecting coins along the way, but gradually get’s harder. While the level does get more difficult as it goes, it’s never too frustrating or unfair at all. All in all, the level has a very nice difficulty curve and fun factor that’ll keep you coming back to see how fast or perfect you can get through it. If you’re brave enough for the challenge check out the level at: D53D-0000-0010-77DF. Until next time, Keep on creating and making awesome levels!
