Geekscape Tech Review: Beyerdynamic Byron BT Premium Wireless Earphones
Beyerdynamic allows me to review some great products of theirs, and this time I’ll be reviewing the Byron BT wireless. Some wireless earbuds are like earplugs, and are truly wireless. This is not that kind, but hopefully we’ll be seeing those kind of earbuds from Beyerdynamic in the future, hopefully before the end of 2017.
Although, not that kind of wireless, these earbuds do have the wireless convenience of not being tethered physically to your device. There is a cord that connects each earbud, but it can just hang down in the back of your neck. They wirelessly connect with Bluetooth, so you could answer calls and listen to music without having your phone/cord getting hooked on something. These earbuds use Qualcomm aptX codecs with acoustic transducers to provide quality Bluetooth sound. There is a three-button remote included that allows for a hands-free microphone for taking calls.
The battery life on these wireless earbuds will give you about 7 and a half hours worth of listening pleasure, before you have to charge them again, and that takes about two hours. For another $100 you could upgrade to the BTA and have faster charging and AAC and aptX codecs, but the BT only supports aptX.
These are good quality earbuds by Beyerdynamic for those looking for these characteristics in the price range of $99.00. They can be purchased along with other great Beyerdynamic products on their website.
