Geekscape Tech Review: LucidSound LS20 Gaming Headset
We recently reviewed many great gaming headsets, and we’re going to continue along that line- this time the headset will not only work for the PC, but also for all other platforms like the PlayStation, Xbox One, your mobile devices, and PC. This one is from LucidSound, and it is known as the LS20.
The LucidSound LS20 gaming headset has convenient accessible controls on the earcups. On the left side, you can spin a volume control wheel and hit a button for audio mute. The right earcup contains a microphone mute button. As mentioned before, the LS20 is compatible with mobile devices- including controls for music and calls.
The sound from the 40 mm speakers with neodymium magnets is powerful, aided by a tremendous bass boost with the help of a rechargeable battery inside the headset. It also has active and passive modes as well.
It’s predecessor- the LS30 is bigger, has 10 more mm of audio drivers, and was wireless- as compared to this model that you have to plug into everything. The LS30 also costs $50 more, but both headsets are comfortable with their memory foam padding.
Other features include a rechargeable battery for up to 20 hours of charge, and is available in black and white. You should be able to purchase it on the Lucid Sound site for $99.99.
