Geekscape 545: The Hallmark Video Game Reunion Episode!

COVID 19 is still raging and we’re still quarantined in our homes! ‘The Last Of Us 2’ has been delayed and we’re trying to make do with ‘Animal Crossing: New Horizons’! Is this pandemic even survivable? Luckily, we’re getting the Geekscape video game crew back together to walk you through the one media industry that hasn’t been destroyed by the pandemic! Shane O’Hare and Josh Jackson return with surprise guest and occasional podcaster Derek Kraneveldt to talk about the latest video game news and to announce a return of a Geekscape Games (or whatever Shane and Josh want to call it at this point)! Along the way we discuss and speculate on the XBox Series X, the Playstation 5, when I might see the Breath of the Wild sequel or a new Metroid Prime game and everyone convinces me to get Animal Crossing! We also talk about new video game inspired shows like ‘Upload’ and ‘Mythic Quest’ and do a lot of reminiscing on old San Diego Comic Con mishaps! Enjoy!
