First Promo Image For Return Of ‘The Walking Dead’ Now Online!

Briefly: AMC today released the first promo image for the February 9th return of The Walking Dead, and readers of The Walking Dead comic book may just know what’s coming up next.

After the fantastic (fantastic) prison arc in the comic book (years and years ago), a critically injured, undeniably heartbroken, one-handed Rick is unable to move and nearly succumbs to his situation. As such, it’s up to Carl to become central character, and find supplies to help his dad.

We last saw Rick pretty beaten up (pretty being within an inch of his life), and clearly distraught about the disappearance (and likely death) of his baby beth. Could the next arc in the television show be closer to the comic book?
