First P.A. Gig, Sam Raimi, & Doctor Strange (2016) | Masters of the Media Ep. 34

Kicking off the month of May, Garrett shares his experience from his first production assistant gig (that literally happened the day before the recording of this very episode). He goes into his duties, things he learned, & things that he’ll carry with him on a personal level from the day. From there, Garrett talks about one of the maestros of film that made him fall in love with the medium: Sam Raimi. He shares details from some of his first viewings of Raimi’s different works & how he’s been inspired in his own work by him. Finally, he wraps the episode up by talking about 2016’s “Doctor Strange” & why the film stands out to him as a a personal favorite in the MCU.
