Emily joins Tim from her studio in Washington DC to discuss her development as an artist, the challenges of making a living as an artist and her valiant struggle with cerebral palsy. Emily was born and raised in Cambridge, England, but has also spent time in America throughout her life. Graduating Wolverhampton University Emily decided to move to Washington DC. Now five years on she has her own photography company and has recently graduated from the Washington School of Photography. Emily’s images have been displayed in several gallery shows and she has won an honorable mention. Her images have been accepted to be hung at a local Arlington Wine bar for the next month and she plans on continuing to display at this location. Emily is also currently working with an agent, to sell her images to hotels and other companies in the hospitality industry across America.
