Elizabeth Olsen Confirmed For Role In Legendary Pictures ‘Godzilla’

Just this past week it was revealed that both Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad) and Elizabeth Olsen (Liberal Arts) were both in talks to join Aaron Johnson (Kick-Ass) in Legendary Pictures Godzilla. Now, while talking at tonight’s BAFTA awards, the young actress has confirmed that she has indeed signed on for the Gareth Edwards helmed film and promises that the film will be a very “different take” than the previous incarnations of the legendary Monster.

““I’m about to film Godzilla in the Spring so that’s the next thing I’m working on!””

With production set to begin next month, expect some official casting announcements regarding the film very soon.

Godzilla is set to hit theaters May 16th, 2014.
