Bethesda Gets License to Make S.T.A.L.K.E.R Game: Will S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 Live?

The Ukrainian blogger who broke the story of the studio responsible for the S.T.A.L.K.E.R series, GSC Gameworld, shutting down has gotten his hands on some tasty info. Bethesda has a license to make a game in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R universe!

On his blog. Sergey Galyonkin, states from a reputable source that Bethesda has picked up the rights to make a game based on the S.T.A.L.K.E.R universe! He explicitly says that they have not bought ALL rights to the series and just will be allowed to make a game with their own technology, most likely the same engine that was used for Skyrim.

Does this mean that the long sought for S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 may live? It’s WAY to soon to tell.
