Amazon Prime ‘Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ Season 2 Teaser Trailer is Here!

Amazon Prime’s Marvelous Mrs. Maisel premiered to critical acclaim and the star Rachel Brosnahan, who plays the title character Midge, took home a Golden Globe. It’s nominated for 5 Emmys including Lead Actress in a Comedy series and Best Comedy Series.

The show, created by husband and wife duo Amy and Dan Sherman-Palladino, revolves around Midge, a dedicated wife, mother, and an upcoming comedienne. The first season took it’s audience on an adventure as we watched Midge try her hand at stand up comedy and succeed with a failure or two here. Midge’s parents are played by Tony Shalhoub and Marin Hinkle who have the best comedic timing, necessary for this pace of a show. Alex Borstein plays Midge’s agent Susie, a gruff, vulgar, but lovable woman.

When we last saw Midge, she was getting into her own groove as a stand up comic, her husband Joel was trying to figure out what he wanted out of life, and the world was continuing on.

On Thursday, August 9th, Amazon Prime released a teaser trailer for the Second Season and the theme is happy. With Judy Garland reminding everyone to ‘Forget your troubles, come on get happy,” one can’t help but smile. Take a look at the teaser and let us know what you think.
