Teabag Prevention #26 – Rat’s Nest
Rat’s Nest can be a very different map from the rest at times. Luckily the Teabag Prevention Team is here to help.
TIP #1 – IF YOU’VE GOT POWWWA!
TIP #2 – YOU’RE GONNA BE HIIIGH AS A KITE BY THEN
Rockets should be obtained right away. This is a close quarter map. I know it seems huge, but when it comes down to it, you’re realy just dealing with closer quarters due to the constant curving of the hallways. These hallways are patrolled by Warthogs which gives the rockets an even greater importance. Go for these first. This is a team map and you want to be the guy John Rambo’ing it with the rockets while the other team is trying to get themselves together.
Once your team has the rockets, send Warthogs down there to secure it. Once you get them, use them against enemy Warthogs and groups of people on foot.
TIP #3 – SPAWN-KILLIN’ SUM BITCHES
Warthogs should always keep moving and try to get kills at the enemy’s spawning point.
When not doing that, the faithful riders of the Warthogs should be ever vigilant while roaming an dominating through he corridors. BR’s can kill people in the Warthog itself and are often people’s demise on this map. Grenades can be equally dangerous – especially in the corridors. You’ll flip and die – every pancake’s worst nightmare.
Tip #4 – DITTO
The Ghost can make or break a team if used properly. Going on a splattering spree wont always work. A Ghost should always stay their distance.
Fire at the enemy long enough, and they’ll die. There’s really no need to go splatter them.
When you do hang back, be on the lookout for grenades, especially plasma. Also, make sure you never get surrounded. If you do, then, as a last measure, is when you start splattering. Splatter away.
TIP #5 – GO GREEN
The Regenerator on this map is vital. It works best inside the halls of the map. It’ll also keep you alive long enough to kill a Warthog or fend off any enemies.
- Stay in a group. Outnumber your enemies
- Close range weapons work best in the halls.
- Rockets and Brute Shots work best against the vehicles.
- Always keep moving when you are dominating in a hog…wow.
- Use equipment to shield yourself from multiple enemies and vehicles.
