Did Mark Millar Confirm That We Will See Sentinels In ‘X-Men: Days Of Future Past’?

One of the smartest moves that Fox has made regarding their comic book titles was bringing Mark Millar on to oversee their project. An article featured on Digital Spy says that Millar recently gave an interview to SFX about the upcoming X-Men: Days Of Future Past where he called the the plot of the film “X-Men meets The Terminator”. He also said the following about the film:

“”You’ve got robots, you’ve got time travel, you’ve got superheroes – it’s got everything in one film.”

Robots? Well, I think there’s only one thing that could mean. Sentinels!

Millar also stated that it is “no spoiler on [his] part” to say that the film goes into an apocalyptic future.” He also confirmed that they have definitely increased the budget from the first film. Millar didn’t go on to mention what characters or time periods we will see in the film, but those small tidbits alone are enough to get any X-fan X-cited.
