Geekscape Tech Review: Speck Presidio SHOW, Glitter, and Grip iPhone Cases

If you are interested in some nice cases to protect your phone, we’re going to review a few great products from Speck. The ones that I was sent to review were specifically for the iPhone 7, but a couple of these also come for the 6s and 6 also.

Beginning with the Presidio SHOW, which comes in sizes for the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 6/6S. This case is transparent, which is probably why it is called SHOW, because it shows your phone.

Not only does it have a transparent style, but it also has a shock barrier on the side which is made of Impactium. Sounds kind of like “unobtainium” from Avatar. The SHOW has been named as iLounge’s best iPhone case in 2016. It comes with a Lifetime Warranty, and is drop tested- claiming to offer 10 ft of protection.

Then there is the Presidio CLEAR + GLITTER. This case is very glittery, but also made of Impactium. This case has an 8 ft drop protection. This is also an award winner for iLounge. You can enjoy the glittery case in different colors- Clear/Gold Glitter, Onyx/Gold Glitter, and Rose Pink with Gold Glitter/Rose Pink.

Last up is the Presidio GRIP. If you have issues holding on to your phone because you have butter fingers, this case might be a lifesaver for you. It has little ridges that make the phone easy to grip- as well as the 10 ft drop proven test, so if it still falls out of your pocket or hand, you will still have phone protection.

You can get the Presidio Grip on the Speck site for about $39.95, and it comes in Black/Black, White/Ash Gray, Graphite gray/Charcoal Gray, Twilight Blue/Marine Blue, Lipstick Pink/Shocking Pink, and Whisper Purple/Lilac Purple. This case is available for iPhone 7s only.
