‘Weeds’ Elizabeth Perkins Joins AMC’s ‘Preacher’!

Briefly: Just a few days back, long-standing rumours were confirmed, and Dominic Cooper was cast as Jesse Custer in AMC’s Preacher adaptation.

Now, the cast has grown yet again. This time, Weeds Elizabeth Perkins has joined the project. She’ll play Vyla Quinncannon the owner of the local slaughterhouse in Annville. The genteel and formidable businesswoman has past connections to the father of lead Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper) that gives her a hold over him.

Perkins joins Dominic Cooper as Jesse Custer, Ruth Negga as Tulip O’hare, Lucy Griffiths as a new character named Emily Woodrow, Joseph Gilgun as Cassidy and Ian Colette as Arseface.
