Elodie Yung Is Set to Play Elektra In ‘Marvel’s Daredevil’ On Netflix

According to Deadline, Elodie Yung (G.I. Joe: Retaliation), is set to play Elektra in Daredevil‘s second season.

It’s going to be very interesting to see the direction that the show is going with the addition of The Punisher, who will be portrayed by Jon Bernthal, and now Elodie Yung’s Electra. Season 2 of Daredevil has already started production, so it’ll be interesting to see if Elektra is a late addition to the season, or a cameo like Stick.

I really don’t remember her role in G.I. Joe: Retaliation and I’m not familiar with any of her other works, so I may have to check out some clips to see if she’s going to be a good fit. I’m just really more excited about the character Elektra being brought in. She was hinted at in season 1 by a throwaway comment from Foggy regarding Matt’s past girlfriends. So I’m sure we will see some flashbacks with them possibly sparring.
